Definitely Not a Good Idea

There are lots of Adsense publishers who participated in Google Adsense Advertisement program without fully understanding the Adsense Program Policies. It must be given enough attention because a violation of the program policies can cause a termination of Adsense account once discovered by the Google Adsense Team. Take note that you may have only one Adsense Account, using you name and your website, in a lifetime.

As an example, a Filipino blogger happily discovered the benefits of Adsense Program at http://www.yugatech.com/blog/?p=429 and leave the following comment,

"Demmet. I should have signed up earlier. I don’t know… I guess I never really thought it’s a good money-making scheme till now."

He, then, put an adsense ad block on his blog BUT, unfortunately, he posted the following on his blog,

The last line of his post is obviously a violation of Adsense program policies, which says,

"Web pages may not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. This includes encouraging users to click on the ads or to visit the advertisers' sites as well as drawing any undue attention to the ads. For example, your site cannot contain phrases such as "click here," "support us," "visit these links," or other similar language that could apply to any ad, regardless of content. These activities are strictly prohibited in order to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs. In addition, publishers may not bring unnatural attention to sites displaying ads or referral buttons through unsolicited mass emails or unwanted advertisements on third-party websites. Publishers are also not permitted to use deceptive or unnatural means to draw attention to or incite clicks on referral buttons."

I had also discovered another blog that is practicing the same trick but later became offline. Here is the screen shoot of the Google cache;

We are encouraging Filipino Adsense Publishers to faithfully follow the Adsense Program Policies before it’s too late.

    Adsense is really a money-making scheme provided you will play by the rule. I am a Filipino who started working with Adsense on September 2005. Instead of utilizing my time to look for clicks, I just waited and instead do all necessary optimization to rank my site higher, thus giving me more traffic and clicks the legal way. I am proud to be an Adsenser who earns US$3,000+ per month. YM! llessur1972
